Interesting Finds
We have had a busy two weeks with estate sales and auctions. It’s strange how we go for weeks without finding anything of value then we hit several sales that seem to have great items and decent prices. We are never sure what they will bring price wise, but we love the hunt. This past week I found a mint condition (for it’s age) Maxfield Parrish Print with original label on the back, Circe’s Palace is a hard to find print by this highly collected artist. We found some original art work that was just beautifully done, not at all amateurish though it was done by an amateur in the 1920’s. Yesterday I found four Pewter Flagon’s in all my years I have never seen that many in one place and these are very nice with extreme detailing. Next week.. we might not find even a used 1990 Barbie.. but this week.. I am enjoying the view of my office with nice items and unique finds.
